sunset cruises return

Published on October 27, 2018

Kep is renowned for mesmerising sunsets and now it is possible to have a unique and special sunset experience. We are very happy to announce the start of our barefoot luxury Sunset Cruises season at Knai Bang Chatt. Our sunset cruise sails the gulf of Siam on a transformed local fishing boat, the product of a very talented young Khmer architect designer.

The 90 minute journey departs from the jetty of The Sailing Club as you are offered bubbles, wines or beer and a selection of canapés, the cruise heads south past the Crab Market before turning the corner where we sail near Rabbit Island, this is the time to watch the sky start to change as sunset approaches. The view of the Crab Market and Kep National Park from the water is very beautiful and gives you a completely different perspective of the region. The boat continues on its path and heads out towards the island of Koh Karang where the thirteen small islands of the Kep archipelago start to appear in the distance. A Kep sunset is not over once the sun disappears below the horizon, the sky comes alive with a show of changing colours and textures, a spectacle of mother nature at it’s very best.

There is no better way to enjoy a Kep sunset than aboard our luxury vessel. Cruises operate from November through to April, Join in and private departures are available for more details, bookings and enquiries please contact us at info@knaibangchatt.com
